  11. INET is the annual Internet Society Conference.
  12.  
  13. Following the very successful INET'92, INET'93 will be held on 17-20
  14. August 1993 in San Francisco. Focusing on worldwide issues of research
  15. and academic networking, the goal of INET'93 is to bring together
  16. individuals from university, industry and government who are involved
  17. with planning, developing, implementing, managing and funding
  18. national, regional and international research, academic, and
  19. commercial networks.

  21. The official language of the conference is English.  The conference
  22. agenda will include plans and status reports on research and academic
  23. networks throughout the world. In addition, possible topics for
  24. conference sessions include but are not limited to the following:

  84. The conference will be held immediately preceding Fall Interop '93,
  85. the leading trade show for Internet technologies. This will make
  86. possible attending both events as well as tutorials given as part of
  87. Interop '93.

  89. The conference will be held in one of the most beautiful cities in the
  90. world.  Social events will be arranged during the conference to take
  91. advantage of the unique environment San Francisco provides. In
  92. addition, assistance will be provided to attendees wishing to see more
  93. of this unique area.

  118. A workshop designed to assist developing countries in their
  119. installation and use of networking technology is being organized and
  120. will take place during the week before the conference in the San
  121. Francisco Bay Area.
